Seahawks Mock Draft Projections

With thousands of mock draft revolving and updating around the internet, there are many different names predicted to be selected by the Seattle Seahawks with the 18th overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. We've compiled a list of some of the top mocks to give you a preview of who the team could select in the first round.

First up, Charles Davis from the NFL Network and NFL on FOX. Charles joins Jason Puckett and Mike Gastineau each Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. PT to preview and review the NFL Draft.

Charles Davis: Will Hernandez, Guard, UTEP

Measurables: 6'2 and 358 lbs. Ran the 40-yard-dash in 5.15 seconds, recorded 37 bench press reps, as well as a three-cone-drill of 7.59 and 20-yard-shuttle of 4.7 seconds.

What He's Saying: "With the loss of DT Sheldon Richardson free agency, and an obvious rebuild needed on that side of the ball, a pick to help the D makes sense. But, it also makes sense to do more to take care of the team's No. 1 asset, QB Russell Wilson."

Daniel Jeremiah: Harold Landry, EDGE, Boston College

Measurables: 6'3 and 252 lbs. Ran the 40-yard-dash in 4.64 seconds, recorded 24 bench press reps, as well as a three-cone-drill of 6.88 and 20-yard-shuttle of 4.19 seconds.

What He's Saying: "Landry isn't the most physical edge defender, but he has natural pass-rushing skills."

Bucky Brooks: Josh Jackson, Cornerback, Iowa

Measurables: 6'1 and 192 lbs. Ran the 40-yard-dash in 4.56 seconds, recorded 18 bench press reps, as well as a three-cone-drill of 6.86 and 20-yard-shuttle of 4.03 seconds.

What He's Saying: "The departure of Richard Sherman leaves a huge void on the perimeter. Jackson would give the Seahawks a long, rangy cover corner with exceptional ball skills to plug into the lineup."

Rob Rang: Derrius Guice, Running Back, LSU

Measurables: 5'10 and 212 lbs. Ran the 40-yard-dash in 4.49 seconds and recorded 15 bench press reps.

What He's Saying: "The Seahawks already spent their second- and third-round picks of the 2018 draft, landing defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson (Jets) and offensive tackle Duane Brown (Texans) in trades, leaving general manager John Schneider with essentially two choices here — either trade back to recoup picks or directly address the club’s anemic running game. The 5-foot-11, 218-pound Guice possesses the combination of burst, balance through contact and toughness Seattle has lacked since Marshawn Lynch left town."

Peter King: Marcus Davenport, Defensive End, UTSA

Measurables: 6'6 and 264 lbs. Ran the 40-yard-dash in 4.58 seconds, recorded 22 bench press reps, as well as a three-cone-drill of 7.2 and 20-yard-shuttle of 4.41 seconds.

What He's Saying: "You know how we always say, This team never thought Player X would be there? This is the first example of that in the first round. Davenport could go 10 to Oakland, and in a few spots between. I believe GM John Schneider thought it smart at this point to deal this pick down, and he very well would have if a good falling player was not available. Good for the Seahawks—who have had some rotten luck in recent drafts (particularly with Malik McDowell)—to be able stay put and get a guy who looks like the second-best edge-rush prospect in this draft."
